Tech Valley is growing! While the region’s economy continues to move forward, our population has expanded to more than two million people, a 3.8% increase over the last five years. Tech Valley’s labor pool is now more than 1.1 million workers with a low unemployment rate around 4 percent.
Tech Valley is attractive to young, entrepreneurial students due to the abundance of world-class colleges and universities. They are remaining in the region after graduation allowing Tech Valley to maintain a diverse, well-educated workforce.
