America's most historic wine region lies in the Hudson River valley. French immigrants first planted vines here 350 years ago and in 1839 the nation’s oldest continually operating winery was established. Now there are more than 30 wineries and 500 acres of vineyards in the area.
Tech Valley’s wineries are well-known for French-American grape varieties such as seyval blanc and baco noir and European grape varieties such as chardonnay and cabernet franc.
