Healthy Hiring Pace Expected for Tech Valley
Tech Valley employers are expected to hire at a solid pace during the first quarter of 2007 – with most surveyed areas outpacing the Northeast and the United States – according to the Manpower Employment Outlook Survey.
From January to March, the mean increase of employers adding jobs in the surveyed areas of Tech Valley is 28.5%. Twenty-three percent employers in the U.S. and the Northeast will increase their workforce. Tech Valley will see a mean net increase (percentage of employers adding jobs less the percentage of employers eliminating jobs) of 19%. The United States will realize a net of 12% and the Northeast 13%.
