University at Albany (46),
Plattsburgh State (84) and
SUNY New Paltz (90) all ranked among the top 100 schools in Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine's survey of best values for public universities.
"Each and every day we work very hard to ensure that students continue to have access to a very high-quality education at SUNY campuses," Chancellor John Ryan told The Business Review.
Kiplinger's rated campuses on academic quality, cost and availability of financial aid. More emphasis was placed on academic strengths than costs.
The rankings are based on data provided by more than 500 public four-year colleges and universities.
