Tech Valley is located entirely in the Eastern Time Zone of the United States, five hours behind Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) and Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
On the second Sunday of march, Tech Valley begins observing Daylight Savings Time (DST) by moving our clocks forward by one hour. This gives an extra hour of daylight in the evening during the summer months. On the first Sunday in November the clocks are pushed back an hour and Eastern Standard Time (EST) begins.
