We don’t hide – and in fact, we celebrate – our four seasons. Yes, it may get cold and snowy in the winter, especially in the higher elevations such as the Adirondack Mountains. Expect temperatures to dip to about 26 F (-3.3 C) and snowfall to total 40–60 inches. Tech Valley residents enjoy the winter months by taking to our world-class ski resorts, trying snowshoeing, ice skating on our frozen ponds and lakes or enjoying sleigh rides over open fields.7.
