Funding for TechValley.org comes from the the Tech Valley Chamber Coalition (TVCC) and the "
Advancing Tech Valley" campaign.
TVCC – formed in June 2002 – is a group of 24 Chambers of Commerce from thoughout Tech Valley that have joined together in an unprecedented fashion to promote the region. Each Chamber has contributed to help build and maintain this web site. TVCC represents more than 20,000 businesses that employ more than 525,000 workers.
More than 125 Tech Valley businesses and organizations have contributed to the 'Advancing Tech Valley Campaign,' a joint initiative of the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Center for Economic Growth.
Launched in March 2005, Advancing Tech Valley is a five-year, $11 million initiative designed to heighten the momentum and capitalize on the region’s future opportunities for economic and business growth by increasing economic prosperity and improving the quality of life throughout the 18-county region.
The campaign’s founding partners are Citizen’s Bank Foundation, General Electric, MapInfo and National Grid.
